I was thinking and made a dumb headcanon where he feels really bad for being behind so much on all the cases and stuff, so he writes down everything he can to keep up to speed, but ultimately he ends up forgetting anyway so it doesn’t help him much… but at least he tries!
He just wants to be helpful and not feel bad when people call him dumb. ‘Cause he’s not. He tries very hard!!!
